Don, James and Tom are three friends who came together to solve a problem. Why was it so hard for sports clubs, small businesses, community groups and schools to get personalised clothing that was of a high standard and delivered quickly. As coaches of youth teams, they saw first hand the problem their club faced with suppliers. High prices, supply chain issues, slow turnaround times and poor quality items that didn't last beyond one wear.

As they explored further they found that many of their friends, families and colleagues were suffering similar issues. Whether it was work-wear for employees & staff, leavers jumpers for end of year students, or custom print-wear for business branding; the same issues with quality, speed and price arose. They decided something had to be done and so, Castra was born. Its sole aim... deliver high-quality, reliable and fast printing services for clients, whilst keeping the personal touch.

Based in Colchester, Castra Print went from humble beginnings in the garage of one of its creators, to now supplying printing services to large enterprises, small businesses and sports/community groups across the UK
